The continued impact of the new crown epidemic is the main reason for the continuous price increase of local fruits and vegetables. The first is that all fruits and vegetables that need to be picked by hand (eg eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, peaches, etc.) have to reduce the number of employees to maintain a safe distance during the epidemic. The crisis related to the epidemic has forced farmers to take extra care when harvesting and keep their distance from each other, especially during the harvesting process.

Due to severe frosts in spring, for example, apricot production has fallen by 40%. Although the output of cherries has increased, due to the bad weather in June, the picking is difficult and the market supply is low.
