South African drupe suppliers expect the 2022/23 drupe export season to be stable and of high quality. After a series of logistical challenges over the past year, export volumes will increase this year and trade will return to a steady pace.

Growers are expecting above-average drupe yields for the new season, with particular attention to quality and fruit size. Several new orchards have been built by growers over the past five years to increase production, leaving everyone especially looking forward to this year's nectarine and plum yields.

What is the best way to sort for small fruit and large yields? Our factory has recently released a new product, a four-line electronic weight sorting machine for plums, which is operating in our customers' factories. This processing line not only reduces costs but also increases the yield of plums.
