According to the communication with customers, most of them totally agree with the drum grader for tomato sorting. However, not everyone is sensitive with machine as a professional engineer. Especially the guys who never touch the mechanized equipment themselves.

So, why not we suggest roller grader for tomato sorting? Simply, because of the shape.

Comparing with orange, tomatoes are too oblate to rotate as we need. For oranges, 95% of them rotate toward and drop on the size sorter in the same direction, that is the width we need for sorting. The accuracy can achieve 98% if add an elevator to make oranges spread in advance.

As for tomatoes, it is difficult to adjust themselves. Thus, when we choose roller grader for tomatoes, rotate from any direction is possible. In the same way, drop from any direction is also possible.

Based on this, drum grader for tomato was designed. No matter how to rotate, tomatoes will drop in the holes from the largest diameter, which is measured as below:

Generally, citrus is similar to tomatoes. Lemon is similar to oranges.
